Yucca Fins in The Surfer’s Journal

A short piece I wrote about Sean Starky’s Yucca Fins is in the newest edition of The Surfer’s Journal. The article highlights Sean’s efforts to produce a swim fin from recycled/reused rubber pieces/cuttings that are leftover when making fins. As the line of fins are called, he’s making them from the “Scraps.” Huge thank you to Sean, who was super easy to work with/interview. Also, an equally huge thank you to The Surfer’s Journal editors, without doubt some of the best and most professional editors in outdoor/adventure journalism.

Check it out in issue 30.6 of TSJ, arriving to newsstands and mailboxes now.
