Paraguay

Landlocked and off the worn path, Paraguay is a traveler’s delight if you like a challenge.  I was introduced to this land we know little about through my bride; she volunteered in Asunción before we came together.  Over the years her stories, along with books and news articles, had me wanting to get there some day.  Then we did, when a work opportunity was offered to us in 2011.

At the center of world history for centuries, Paraguay has a dark side, but on the ground, there is a light to be found in the smiles of the people.  Today, there are tremendous obstacles imposed on those smiles.  To gain a little understanding of those obstacles, and to see the smiles, visit here:  https://jamesmurren.com/category/paraguay/
