I picked up a snowshoeing writing assignment. From Sedona, I drove up to Flagstaff and then a little further north to Arizona’s Nordic Village. If you’re looking for a place to snowshoe, xc-ski, and even fat/snow biking (I didn’t know they had trails open to bikes), and backcountry yurting, get on up/out to northern Arizona.
Winter outings feel so good. There is something about the crisp air and the white that snow provides, making for a sense of purity.
