Tumbling Run Waterfalls

It’s one of my favorite hikes on this side of the moon, not that I’ve hiked on the moon.  Tumbling Run in Michaux State Forest, a blue blaze if you’re hiking up top on the AT, but a nice day hike if you park on the hard road.  Cross the creek and pick your path as you meander your way up through the forest, the stream sometimes being a better path than one of the many paths.

Mountain Laurel, the state flower of Pennsylvania, was still in bloom here and there:

Then somewhere up a ways, find a spot that you like and hang out with Mother Nature.

That’s what we did, leaving not a soul disappointed in doing so.

Got nature?
