We got a ride in last weekend in our local Cuyamaca Mountains. I’ve not seen so much water in the four years I’ve been here, and the locals I ride with said it’s the most they’ve seen in 10+ years. With more rain in the forecast this weekend, possibly another 2 inches, the waterfalls will be flowing really well.
Lake Cuyamaca is nearing the Sunrise Highway. Maybe it’ll get there in 10 days or so.
All this beauty, complete with trail views of distant snow capped mountains, is good for the soul, no doubt.
