Mind F@!ked in Mexico

Going to Mexico will be more of a mind fuck for a while, more than it already was.  My USA passport will allow me to flow freely across the border, while Haitians, Central Americans, Mexicans, and others from around the world will sit on the other side of the wall.  That will be the same as it was.

The rhetoric is already damaging, though the actual policy implementation remains to be seen.  So far, it sounds like it won’t be all that much different than the past eight years, with regard to deportation.  Of course, that could change real quick.

Again, the words are already damaging.

Walls?  Let’s not allow them to build ones in our minds.

San Ysidro is one of the most traveled borders in the world, with upwards of 100,000 people crossing every day.  We’re better for it.
