Morning Bike Ride on a Live-Long Day

up there in the mile
high blue laguna sky
where pines stand tall
and the trails wind on
and on through woods
and meadows that are
home to coyotes, bobcats,
mountain lions, deer and
lots of birds, i go for
long morning rides on
my bike, always ending
with a big smiley face
that lasts for the rest
of the live-long day
