Riding Singlespeed is Quiet!(?)!

Of all the reasons espoused for riding singlespeed, I hadn’t heard from any of my friends or others about how quiet it is to ride singlespeed.  Somehow I didn’t get that bit of information.   The memo didn’t cross my desk.  Maybe I wasn’t paying attention if/when that was revealed.

Save all the other “cult”-like reasons for one gear bikes.  As one who seeks out quietude, and one who supports the One Square Inch of Silence movement, the quieter ride has me sold.
