Twin Fin and Parley, Eradicating Plastics Through A.I.R.

Soon after getting off the plane, I’m talking less than 2 hours from getting the car rental and checking into the Twin Fin hotel on Waikiki Beach, I was poolside and talking with Manny from Parley for the Oceans. At the link below, you can read for free/no paywall an article I wrote for Session Magazine about the unique partnership that the hotel has with the global non-profit, working together on Parley’s Avoid. Intercept. Redesign. strategy for eradicating plastics.

I’ve been a Southwest Airlines flyer and credit card holder for a long time. Basically, BWI is their hub and it’s the airport that I use when flying to see family in PA. Their history of cheap fare and grab a seat worked for me. When they got into the Hawai’i game from the west coast, I was excited, as I live in San Diego. Nevertheless, it took me a while to hop on board a flight to the Hawaiian Islands, making my way to Oahu. Note: the new Southwest policies are fine with me. More than anything, I’ve found their on-time rate to be second-to-none, which, apparently, is backed up with data. I gotta get on more flights to the islands!
