The rain/winter storm came and went, and along with it, surly surf came rolling into San Diego and will stick around for another day or so. I cannot get enough of seeing the wild ocean. The pier shook a little on some sets, adding to the energy in the air.
One lone surfer was in the mix of it all. Cold Pacific Ocean and stormy seas, be damned. On this wave, he rode it under/through the pier pylons.
Shoot the pier, as they say. Some humans beat their own dreams, but they don’t march to their sound. They dance.
