Arizona Route 160 through the Navajo Nation

For some 150 miles, route 160 runs through the four corners region of the desert southwest of the USA, which is the ancestral of home of Native Americans and is the land of the Navajo Nation.  Along the way, I listened to KSUT radio, learning of issues faced by peoples living there via the Tribal Radio programming on the station.  For a while, drumming was played.

With the windshield as my lens, and under the influence of the radio station and the landscape around me, my mind wandered aimlessly.

out here where the wind blows

and blows, stopping only when it

wants to, peoples have lived

and lived, stopping only when

they want to
