The last time I was up on Sherman Peak was 5 years ago when 4 of us mountain biked to the top, getting in the bonus before turning around and going all the way down to Kernville on the Cannell Trail. This time, I hiked at a leisurely pace, soaking up the Sierra Nevada sunshine on an early autumn late-morning-into-the-afternoon outing.

After lazin’ on the peak for a lil’ while, I went back down to Sherman Pass, where my car was parked.
Contentedness.
