Autumn’s Slanted Light

What a day it was, autumn’s late afternoon light slanting through the trees and across the meadows.  Who says southern CA doesn’t have seasons?  Pffff … get outside and you’ll see that such a statement isn’t true.

I spun out grunting up the little steep trail piece on Red Tail.

What a wonderful invention, is the bicycle.  How many kids will be gifted one this holiday season?

how many of us have received gifts like this one

If you want to know what autumn feels like in the Laguna Mountains east of San Diego, you have to go and experience it for yourself.   What you hear is the other person’s experience.

I’m pretty sure we all can agree that life passed with/in nature provides us all a common understanding:  we ain’t that big of a deal.

in a blip …
… we’ll be gone
