Beatin’ the Heat (?)

We’re amidst a heat wave here in San Diego.  Coastal temps are in the upper 70s/low 80s.  Inland, add 10-15 degrees.   Whew, that’s hot.  (?)

On Saturday morning, we arrived to the Lagunas at 8 AM, as did a boat load of other people.  Temperature:  64 degrees.  By the end of the ride around Noon:  87 degrees.  Under the trees sitting on a blanket for post-ride cheer and beer:  perfect weather.
