Several years ago, I wrote about the obvious racism that exists in US foreign policy. It was published here:
It then went all around the world, translated into various languages. I was asked to interview with Iran’s Press TV, the voice of Mahmoud Ahmadinejad at the time, some said. That was far too BIG for this small town kid, so I respectfully declined. I didn’t want my voice to be sliced into bites.
Let’s cut to the chase, America: Our political system was built on the pillars that Africans were 3/5th of a human being. We cannot erase that. An amendment will not suffice. It is our legacy. It lives within our borders, as well as outside of our borders.
Ergo, no presidential election or hashtag will correct history. Welcome to reality.
