I just ate some tomatoes that were ripened by the unforgiving Indiana drought sun, and damn if they weren’t a little drop of happiness laying on top of fried zuke, also from a local student-run farm, as they entered my mouth! It’s about time to watch the first African-American woman–can I say “Black” American??? hmm?!–win Olympic gold in the women’s gymnastics all around competition.
Better than watchin’ dressage…(no apologies)…
