The Irazu Volcano can be tricky to see. Reaching more than 11,000 feet into the sky, it’s often shrouded in clouds and fog. On a recent trip, the summit was drenched in warm sunshine with a blue sky above it. Some clouds did roll in on the one side, but the sun burned it away before it could overtake all of Irazu. We got lucky!
