Oaxaca’s Alcala is a pleasant stroll no matter the time of day. Restaurants, artisan shops, bookstores, coffee shops, buskers, locals, tourists, entertainers all are found on the pedestrian-only blocks of street. I liked it in 2002 and did again in 2012. It’s a Latin American walk through beautiful architecture.
