I was going through the final this and that and locking up the car when a truck pulled in behind me at the trail head. A friend quickly let me that others were on the way, and the next thing I know: a solo outing became a ride with 5 others.
Casual pace amidst the beauty of the Cuyamacas, was how we went.
Along the way, we encountered other friends and made new ones. Up at the tree, we sat and ate and relaxed and laughed and …
…sat some more, and … etc.
It was a good day, indeed.
