Snowy Mountain Fire Tower in southern Michaux State Forest, PA was built in 1973 after vandals toppled the original structure. I was up that way last weekend looking for a new trail that drops off the mountain, a single track that adds to the mystique of what MTB Michaux is all about: remote, rocky, backcountry riding.
