Announcing My New Travel Website for 2025!

Hello, everyone!

I have exciting news! I’ve decided to get back into regular travel writing, like I did when I started this website in 2008. Instead of it being like a blog, I’m going to do it on Substack. It’s a newer medium for writers to engage readers via a newsletter format.

Land. Water. Adventure. Travel. People. is my new me, so to speak. It’s going to be my brand.

I hope you will follow along at the new site, which is entirely free. All you need is an email address to receive the weekly newsletters. In 2025, I will feature new guides to outdoor/adventure travel destinations and I am going to have a series titled: Tostadas de San Diego. Yes, tacos are great, but so are tostadas! I’ll also be write about food and drink, along with getting outside and enjoying nature. We’ll meet people as we go. Finally, global travel is slated for 2025, which I’m very much looking forward to. It’s been too long since I’ve crossed the oceans.
