No complaints floated on the Selkirks air. No one whined. Playing in the shadows of old-growth red cedars, we were content.
Out there were the watchful eyes of grizzlies and black bears, moose and caribou, wolves and mountain lions. We were five mountain bikers pedaling the day away in the Idaho wilderness.
