New Ground in 2011

Remnants of a sore throat scratch at my trachea, and my sinuses feel like the back end of this people-mover:

I was cabin feverin’ yesterday.  Despite the end-of-year sickness camping out in my body, I layered on the riding gear and got some road miles in on an unseasonably warm fifty degree afternoon.   I was pleased knowing that the wet-road/snow melt spray and grime that spattered my body, despite the fenders, perhaps would mean that mtb trips slated for January might not be too taxing on the legs.
