During the first year of the pandemic, I wrote a novel. If you know me, it might read like a memoir. You might say, this is real. That’s the point, but it’s not really real. That’s fiction, sometimes being more real than non-fiction.
Not everyone’s dreams come true. That is a necessary reminder.
Ride bikes. Write words. Sleep outside. Greet the stars. Listen to streams. Never, ever turn your head away from flapping wings.
