2010 MTB Comes to a Close

With Appalachia covered in snow, and a rainy week ahead in the deep south that will move into the Ohio Valley, so they say, I’ve put the end-of-year 2010 mtb road trip planning to rest.  It’s not going to happen.  Nevertheless, it’s been a great year of travel and mtb riding.  Highlights of the year include:  Ojibwe and Makwa in WI, VA’s Southern Traverse, and riding Michaux’s Grave Ridge one last time.

Twenty eleven is looking great, with possible international riding trips slated for Costa Rica, far southern Brasil, and central Mexico.   Whether they happen or not will depend on time available while on work travel.  I’m hoping to Womble and Syllamo my way around Arkansas too.

Happy MTB 2010, everyone!  And here’s to 2011!
