Head in Yosemite’s Clouds

Yes, Yosemite Valley gets crowded. No, I’m not going to write a diatribe about it, or propose solutions. You can find that elsewhere on the internets.

What I will say is this: If you’re able-bodied and willing to walk a trail, you can get away from the crowds within a mile or so of the trail heads. Go farther out and you’ll likely see only a few other hikers.

When you go out there, you might say that instead of your head being in the mode it’s often in due to being around people, you get to experience what it feels like to have your head in the clouds.
