On up from Emerald Lake, after joining in at the Duck Pass Trail and turning right and walking a little ways more, Skelton Lake shines like the jewel that it is.
I sat for a while, walked around a little bit, and then sat some more.
I knew I was a rich man. My only regret: I didn’t pack to stay for the night. Next time, I will. I hope.
