To celebrate winter solstice, I went for a long ride. Pedaling through oak forest, with some pines mixed in, and working my way up to the desert, time was not on my mind. With views of the Cuyamacas and the Borrego, my mind was elsewhere. In the far distance, glimpses of the Salton Sea and snowcapped San Gorgonio caught my eye.
Soulifying!
Soulifying, is a great word! That is exactly how a beautiful ride feels. Those mountains are lovely.
Really wonderful place to ride, and the trails are “empty” more than you might think!
