Climbing up Pine Creek all the way to Indian Creek Trail and then traversing east to Champagne Pass emits an air of being in remoteness, especially as you wind your way into the back canyons of Indian Creek. Up on the pass, I enjoy stopping for the view while having a few bites to eat and some water before pedaling on to the meadows.
